Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos also know as Criss Angel in his shows Mindfreak is one of the magician we used to reflect on our main characters. His very unpredictable and does crazy stuff that is life threatening. Some of his tricks even his manger doesn't know what is gonna happen next. His trick are also very weird and to our eyes and mind just impossible...  

The second references is got is from the show Now You See Me.

This show has a lot of mind and eyes tricking parts. A lot of the basic of magic has been used here and yet it leaves a very big effect on the viewers. The summary of the show is about a group of 4 street magicians are brought together by an unknown benefactor and follow the instructions gave by the unknown benefactor to perform the trick of the century and see if they were good enough to join The Eye.   

The third reference is from the show The Illusionist. 

This show happened in a time where science wasn't that powerful. Tricks that uses modem technology like 3D hologram were used as tricks. The summary of the story was the illusionist found the women he felt in love with when he was younger but that women was soon to be the Prince future wife. He plot a huge trick to get both the women and his self away from the prince forever. Like a huge magic trick in making both of them disappear!
